Q: Is there another sport at UNW that you would play if you couldn’t play baseball?
A: I think I would try out for the golf team first off, then possibly tennis. Both of these sports seasons are during baseball season, so I have never had a chance to play them competitively.
Q: Batman or Superman?
A: Superman. Because of the symbol of hope that he is even if he has power that is non-human, I think he is about keeping people safe and doing the right thing.
Q: What’s the greatest band/artist ever?
A: Right now I am pretty much in love with the Kygo remixes and songs, but overall I can always go to Mumford and Sons. The music they make and the content of the songs can always calm me down if need be, or in times of a pick me up, they always come through. And they will be the first band I ever get to see in concert.
Q: If you got your pick of who to play for in the MLB, who would it be?
A: I would want to play for the New York Yankees, not because I like them, but just because of the amazing history of the team and to be able to be a part of that history.
Q: Do you scream on roller coasters?
A: No, but I do scream at spiders and bees.
Q: If you had to change Northwestern’s mascot and colors, what would they be?
A: I would change the mascot to a velociraptor. The colors would be red, gold and black because that’s how I imagine a velociraptor looking.
Q: Are you for or against bat flipping?
A: I am not against bat flipping. Getting a big hit and celebrating that hit with a bat flip isn’t all bad to me. I have only ever bat flipped one time and that was in legion baseball, didn’t do much for me and didn’t do anything to harm the other team or antagonize them.
Q: You get to change one thing about UNW. What is it?
A: The size of the campus. I feel like our campus can only be what it is because of the space we have available. The school won’t be able to expand much with the area we already have, and there is no room for adding any type of facilities that may be needed in the future.
