Q: When did you start playing hockey?
A: I have been playing hockey since I was 3 years old after I learned to skate on the pond behind my house.

Q: Who is your favorite professional player? Why?
A: My favorite hockey player is easily Charlie Coyle of the Minnesota Wild. Coyle is 21 years old and from a city near Boston. He’s known for his incredible work ethic and his physical play style, and because of that he has earned a spot on the top line even though he doesn’t produce the numbers of other well-known players.

Q: Outside of hockey what are some things you enjoy doing?
A: I’m on the football team, so I enjoy getting ready for next season with my teammates. I love to sing songs from “Frozen” and “Tangled” to my roommates, who wouldn’t want to do anything else besides listen to me sing all day. I’m also on Student Government, overseeing food service and athletics.

Q: Do you have a favorite pregame meal?
A: I make sure to carb load the night before games, and I usually get some Chipotle for dinner. I also eat a snickers before the game for a boost in energy.

Q: What team and specific player will you be rooting for in the 2014 Winter Olympics at Sochi?
A: I will do my best to watch every US Olympic hockey game that I can. Zach Parise and Ryan Suter from the Minnesota Wild are on the team. Parise is the captain and Suter is an assistant captain which are both high honors.
